Juliana Beckel
Juliana Beckel is an internationally accomplished harpist based in New York City. Formerly based in Hong Kong, she has built a multifaceted career as a soloist, orchestral harpist, chamber musician, educator, and advocate for the harp. Her debut solo album, The New Yorkers (2025), explores works by composers shaped by life in New York City, spanning jazz to contemporary classical, while her second album, due in 2026, focuses on social dance music in the harp repertoire. Beckel was principal harpist of the City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, appearing at Le French May and the Hong Kong International Piano Competition, and recording for Naxos. A dedicated chamber musician, she was a founding member of the Hong Kong Harp Quartet and Lilac Trio, with performances across Europe and Asia. She has also been recognized by ABRSM for excellence in teaching and serves on the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Opera and the Arts & Culture Development Committee of Hudson River Park Friends.

Miranda Plant Byers
Miranda Plant Byers is a Canadian actress, and arts producer. She is an advocate for work created by female/ nonbinary artists with the intent to impact social change. As an actor she’s appeared in House of Dynamite (Netflix), Boardwalk Empire (HBO), and The Bout (Winner at Tribeca Film Festival). Favorite producing credits include Seth Rudetsky's Deconstructing Broadway (Canadian premiere); Greater Good (2018) (winner of 8 awards, and official selection at 28 film festivals worldwide); When We Grow Up (2018) (winner of "Best of the Lens", Indy Film Fest); and the Jessye Norman at 75: A Celebration concert event at Brookfield Place NY (winner of the "Best In Concert" by Opera 360). She was recognized for her advocacy in storytelling with the "Editha Award for Women's Empowerment" (Hudson International Film Festival, 2021) and the esteemed “Outstanding Alumnae Award” 2024 for advocacy for women in her field by her alma mater, St. Mildred’s-Lightbourn School. She holds an MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School/ Pace University in NYC. She lives in Tribeca with her husband Todd, and two boys, Will and Andrew.

Greer Howland Smith
Greer Howland Smith is an interdisciplinary BioArt artist exploring the intersections of science, identity and living systems. Her energetic, colorful work spans multiple media and engages critical perspectives on the body, science and power. In her work, Greer examines biopolitics and the influence of social media on perception and identity, using materials ranging from bioluminescent microalgae to oil paint, watercolors and mycelium. She has regularly collaborated with scientists in the field of biology and neuroscience. Greer was born in Chicago and has lived in North America, Europe and Asia. During a decade in Hong Kong, she ran an art studio hosting community events, including performance art for HK Art Basel Satellite projects, co-founded a design company, and taught fine art. She returned to New York City in 2021. Smith holds an MFA in Fine Arts and History of Art from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, and studied textiles at Saga Art College in Kyoto, Japan. She has completed BioArt residencies at the School of Visual Arts in New York (2022, 2025), exhibited across the USA, Europe and Asia, and her work is held in private collections worldwide. She now creates alongside her two children—painting, 3D printing, programming Roombas, and growing dinoflagellates—in a creative and joyful practice!

Nikki Penfold
Nikki is a dance artist and educator who remains inspired by the power of art to encourage connection, contemplation, and play. With a BA in Dance Theatre from Trinity Laban London, she co-founded Influx Dance Company, performing in work known for its theatrical aesthetic, commissioning other choreographers, and touring throughout Europe. With teaching accreditation from Bath Spa University and a deep-rooted belief in the transformative value of creative engagement, she has spent much of her career in arts education. In England, she managed BTEC and A Level Dance programs at the post-secondary level, and since relocating to New York in 2010, has worked with Dancewave and The Dreamyard Project as a choreographer and teaching artist. Most recently, she has served on the Board of Directors for Matthew Westerby Dance while giving focus to her two young children, and is excited to be actively arts-curious with this community!
